Todd WebsterTodd Webster is a veteran communications professional who brings campaign and government experience to his sports, political, corporate and advocacy clients.

He is the principal of Webster | Strategies, a public affairs and PR firm, and a founding partner of WebStrong Group, an online communications consulting and technology agency.

Webster has developed and executed traditional and 2.0 public relations campaigns for clients in the U.S. and abroad. Services includes crisis, persuasion, brand awareness/management, and advocacy with an emphasis on contemporary communications. Partner WebStrong Group is a full-service digital agency.

Before launching two companies, Webster spent a decade at the highest levels of Capitol Hill, presidential politics, and the media.

He served as communications director and chief spokesman for U.S. Senate Democratic Leader Tom Daschle, where he developed, coordinated and executed message strategy for the Democratic caucus, overseeing and advising a staff of 25.

Todd held the same position for veteran U.S. Senator Patty Murray (D-Wash.), a member of the Senate Democratic Leadership.

In 2000 he was deputy communications director on the Gore-Lieberman campaign, serving as the campaign's liaison to the broadcast and cable television networks. He was an associate producer on MSNBC's Equal Time with Paul Begala and Oliver North and has won awards for political advertising.

Webster has appeared on CNN, Fox, and MSNBC.

The Associated Press called him a "high-octane communications director" and The Hill reported he made the Senate Democratic Leader's press shop "more disciplined and active."

He has been named one of Roll Call's "Fabulous Fifty: Movers and Shakers Behind the Scenes on Capitol Hill" and a "Rising Star in American Politics" by Campaigns & Elections magazine.

Todd received his M.A. from The George Washington University and his B.A. from Bowdoin College. He is an associate professor in Communications Strategy at the Graduate School of Political Management.
